Tracking questions
Is the tracker free?+
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit. Live status comes straight from the shipping line or airline's own tracking, so it is as current as the carrier's data.
Where do I find my container number?+
On the bill of lading, the container itself (four letters and seven digits on the doors) or your shipping line's booking confirmation. The last digit is a check digit, and we flag numbers that don't add up.
Where do I find my air waybill number?+
On the air waybill or the airline booking. It has 11 digits: a 3-digit airline prefix (176 is Emirates, 157 is Qatar Airways, 098 is Air India) followed by an 8-digit serial.
My container belongs to a leasing company. Can I still track it?+
Yes. Containers with leasing prefixes (for example TGHU, TCNU, SEGU, CAIU) are tracked by the shipping line carrying them. Choose the line from the list, or WhatsApp us the number.
Can I see customs status for my shipment?+
Customs steps such as the shipping bill, LEO, bill of entry, duty and out of charge are not published by carriers. If YAM is handling your clearance, WhatsApp your job number and our team will give you the exact customs status.
How do I track the Indian leg after discharge?+
Use the India leg (Logistics Data Bank) button. It covers container movements through major Indian ports, CFSs, ICDs and rail on the freight corridors.
