Consulting questions

Who is this for?+

Companies starting to import into or export from India, overseas buyers sourcing here, and established traders who want to cut landed cost or shorten transit times.

Do I have to use YAM for the shipping afterwards?+

No. The advice stands on its own. Many clients do ask us to run the shipments, since we already know the plan inside out.

What do you need from me?+

Product details or HS codes, typical volumes, supplier and buyer locations, current costs if you have them, and any deadlines.

How long does it take?+

A focused question, such as which port or which Incoterm, usually takes a few days. A full supply chain review takes longer, and we agree the scope upfront.

Is this legal or tax advice?+

No. We advise on customs, freight and trade procedure. For legal or tax opinions we will tell you when to bring in a lawyer or chartered accountant.
